“Sometimes in life you are lucky enough to come across people that are good at the job that they do . Very occasionally, you will come across people that are outstanding at what they do and how they deliver it.
Yesterday, we had the privilege to find such people. Katie and Darren from Lightfall Photography were commissioned to photograph our home . The meticulous way in which they prepared for the shoot, the equipment they brought and the thought process and attention to detail was phenomenal.
In the modern world we now live in, everybody claims and appears that they can shoot anything with a telephone or an upmarket digital camera.
The expertise is way beyond just the equipment.
Great photography is about you letting someone in to your special moment, or place, and allowing their creativity and expertise capture something unique and personal that brings to life the thing you treasure most.
It’s not until you see this in action that you really do realise what’s been missing in 99.9% of photographs you take or see.
Viewing the images today, I can only describe as a cathartic experience. Those images form a place in our lives, that captures something special, something we built, something we achieved , now immortalised through digital photography.
